Alicia Peña Gonzales

Alicia joined the ISA team in January of 2005. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University with a major in Communications and minors in Spanish and Business. She was born in the Dominican Republic and lived there until she was nine years old before moving to the United States. She traveled abroad the summer of 1997 and toured many cities in both Spain and France. The summer after her senior year of high school, she went to Mexico City and stayed with a family friend for almost two months where she had the opportunity to travel extensively through Central Mexico. She then studied at the Universidad de Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain with ISA in the summer of 2003. Alicia has also traveled extensively throughout the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Spain, and Portugal. She is currently the Admissions Coordinator for all Latin America programs. She has a passion for the Spanish language and Hispanic culture and enjoys learning about and participating in cultural traditions abroad.
