Erica is ISA's Academic Affairs Representative. Her first experience abroad was a summer spent in Madrid, Spain as part of her undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University. Such a short time wasn't quite enough, so she later returned to Sevilla for a semester. Still eager to learn more about the language and culture she had grown to love, she decided to pursue an M.A. in Spanish from Bowling Green State University, which included a year of studies in Alcalá de Henares, Spain. After completing graduate school, she returned to Madrid to teach English in a bilingual high school. Along the way, she has also traveled extensively throughout Europe and Latin America. Erica's experience has confirmed her belief that international education has the potential to change lives. A member of the ISA team since August 2006, she is dedicated to sharing her enthusiasm with students around the world.
