Trevor is a study abroad advisor in the ISA Austin office. In high school he participated in an intensive Spanish-language program in Barcelona, then later studied three semesters in Costa Rica and Mexico. Since his time as an abroad student he has returned several times to work and play in Central America, including backpacking trips up and down the isthmus, as a Guatemalan textiles exporter, a professional translator, and ISA Resident Director at the Latin American University of Science and Technology in Costa Rica. Trevor now travels the U.S. regularly to speak to university students about study abroad and the world outside their comfort-zone. In his free time, he tries to escape to tropical waters to scuba dive, but also enjoys bikes, books, good food, and the company of close friends and family. In 2006, Trevor graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with degrees in Spanish, Latin American Studies, and International Business.
