Mariette joined ISA in 2007, after graduating summa cum laude with a degree in International Development from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. As a student, Mariette participated in study abroad programs in Cuba, Mexico, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. These programs provided Mariette with the background needed to obtain employment abroad, and she worked overseas with a women’s health organization in Nicaragua and a study abroad program in Costa Rica. Mariette’s love for travel has also taken her to Israel, Thailand and several countries in Europe, Central America and the Caribbean. Mariette is dedicated to sharing her enthusiasm for international education and cultural exchange through her work with ISA.
