Justine Salsbury

Justine studied abroad during the summer of her freshmen year in Valencia, Spain. Her experience in Spain was so rewarding it prompted her to choose a career in international education. When she returned to Florida State University, she declared her majors as International Affairs and Spanish. Upon graduation, she lived and worked in the Republic of Panama for one year as an advisor to students studying abroad. No stone was left unturned in her travels throughout Panama with student groups. Justine is devoted to performing community service and has participated in a service exchange program in Costa Rica, volunteered as an ESL teacher and coordinated service projects for students in Panama. In 2007, Justine served as an Americorps member for Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans where she built houses for people who lost their homes in hurricane Katrina. Justine loves talking with students about educational travel and enjoys advising to help them select a program location that is the right fit for their academic goals.
