In addition to facilitating academic offerings through various universities abroad, ISA provides a programming model that allows U.S. institutions to develop customized programs to meet their specific academic, linguistic, and cultural objectives. ISA coordinates the logistical details such as housing, classroom facilities, cultural and academic excursions, and local guest lectures, thus allowing the U.S. home institution's faculty to focus on academic instruction. Language, culture or specialized courses may be contracted through the host university abroad. In addition to providing great flexibility in the program design, the customized programming model allows the home institution to benefit from ISA's knowledge, experience, and infrastructure at our various program sites. With support services including office facilities and full-time local staff at most program sites, ISA assures quality 24/7 support in the areas of orientation, health, safety, cultural awareness, and academics. Customized Programs may run in length from 10 days to 4 months and are currently being offered in the following ISA country sites: Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, France, Italy, Mexico, Peru and Spain.
