On the first day, the group heads for the beaches of Cádiz to tour the ancient Roman ruins of Bolonia, a once important fishing village located right on the Atlantic seashore. Afterwards, the group departs for Conil to check into our hotel and then spend the rest of the day at the beach. Known for its excellent seafood restaurants, Conil is a small, lively beach town to the south of Cádiz. The town originally flourished thanks to its fishing industry, agriculture and livestock farming.
On the following morning the group heads south to Gibraltar. It is one of the most unique places on earth. Rising out of the ocean, the Rock of Gibraltar can be seen from over 20 miles away and has a very different climate, culture and feeling from Spain. The British colony enjoys beautiful weather all year with spectacular views of Africa and Spain and is home to the famous Barbary macaques ape community that is known for its common interaction with visitors.
