Buenos AiresSemester / TrimesterStudents may choose between the following Program Terms: Intensive Spanish Language-Semester - University of BelgranoThis program is designed for students at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of the Spanish language. Spring students will take a total of 320 hours and progress through 3 consecutive levels. The Spring program is open to beginning, intermediate, and high intermediate students. Fall students will take a total of 210 hours at one level. The Fall program is open to all levels of Spanish speakers. Students will participate in courses offered at University of Belgrano's language department that focus on Spanish grammar, conversation, and culture. Courses with Argentine Students - University of BelgranoStudents at an advanced level of the Spanish language will take courses with local students at the University of Belgrano. Students may choose to participate in an intensive month of language practice at the beginning of the semester. Please refer to the "Intensive Month Program" overview for more details. Students will have an academic orientation before making their final course selections at the University of Belgrano. Students have the option of taking up to five classes from two general categories but must take at least one course with Argentines if they sign up for this program: Category One: Classes with Argentine Students (Students must chose at least one course from this area) Category Two: Latin American Studies in Spanish (as listed under the Fall/Spring 3 programs) Click on a session to view details
Also offers sessions in terms...Latin American Studies in Spanish - University of BelgranoThe Latin American Studies program is designed for students at the intermediate and advanced levels of the Spanish language, who have an interest in political, social, economic, and cultural aspects of Argentina. The courses in this program are taught in Spanish by University of Belgrano professors. All classes are with American and other international students. Students may also add an Intensive Month to a Semester/Year program for a discounted price. Contact the ISA office for further details! Also offers sessions in terms...Liberal Arts, Language and Culture - University of El SalvadorThis program is designed for students that have an advanced to superior level of Spanish. Students enroll in one language and culture course and 4 courses selected from the University of el Salvador departments. The majority of courses will be taken with Argentine students; whereas the language courses will be with international students. The following list includes many, but not all of the departments offered at the University of el Salvador. Courses offered in these departments consist of 42-56 hours of instruction. Also offers sessions in terms...Latin American Studies in English - University of BelgranoThis program is designed for students who want the Buenos Aires experience, but who might not want to study the Spanish language or who do not yet have the level to take courses in Spanish. The courses in this program focus on Latin American Studies and are taught in English by University of Belgrano professors. A beginning level Spanish class is offered as well. Students at the intermediate and advanced levels may also chose classes from the Latin American Studies in Spanish program. All classes are with American and other international students.
