Depending on the course, a student may receive between 42-56 hours of instruction. Students that are required by their university to obtain at least 45 hours of instruction may be eligible to attend supplemental sessions and/or complete additional coursework to fulfill this requirement. Prior to enrolling in courses at this language level, students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of four semesters (or six quarters) of college-level Spanish at their home university in the U.S.

Los contenidos de los seminarios se modifican de año a año, pero están orientados hacia tres ejes básicos de la especialización: Economía Internacional y Procesos de Integración, Política Exterior Argentina y Teoría de las Relaciones Internacionales. Ejemplo: Seguridad Internacional, Cooperación Internacional, Unión Europea y Mercosur, el Islam y las Relaciones Internacionales, etc.
