Spring students will take a total of 320 hours and progress through 3 consecutive levels. This program is designed for students at the beginning, intermediate, and high intermediate levels of the Spanish language. Advanced level students should not sign up for this program. Students will participate in courses offered at University of Belgrano's language department that focus on Spanish grammar, conversation, and culture. Students will be in class with Americans and other international students.

Eligibility

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

For beginning, intermediate, and high intermediate level Spanish speakers. Advanced level students should not sign up for this program!

Students must have a 2.5 GPA. All students must take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Buenos Aires. The exam will indicate each student’s language proficiency level, and will determine the courses in which the student is eligible to enroll.

Students who arrive in Argentina having completed less than one year of college-level Spanish will likely place into beginning level. Students who arrive in Argentina having completed one full year of college level Spanish will likely place into the intermediate level courses.
