Buenos AiresSummer:Intensive Spanish LanguageSummer 1 2008 (May 23, 2008 to Jun 21, 2008) This program is designed for students at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of the Spanish language. The course will focus on Spanish grammar, conversation, and culture, and will be held in the language department at the University of Belgrano. All classes are with American and other international students. Minimum Admissions Prerequisites For beginning, intermediate, and advanced level Spanish speakers. Students must have a 2.5 GPA. All students must take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Buenos Aires. The exam will indicate each student’s language proficiency level, and will determine the courses in which the student is eligible to enroll. Students who arrive in Argentina having completed less than one year of college-level Spanish will likely place into beginning level courses. Students who arrive in Argentina having completed one full year of college-level Spanish will likely place into the intermediate level courses.
