Housing Information

HOMESTAY
Room and partial board which consists of breakfast and dinner in a homestay is included in the program price as well as laundry service once a week. Each family has been carefully selected by ISA's resident staff in order to ensure a comfortable living situation. The homestay provides the opportunity for students to experience aspects of the Argentine lifestyle that are inaccessible to the average tourist. This also offers an invaluable opportunity to experience the local language.

It is important to note that due to the dynamic and culture of the city, most homestays consist of a single, older lady or an older couple. Although a few nuclear families are available, ISA cannot guarantee any specific type of homestay for students. Also note that internet access is not common in Argentina, thus homestays will not necessarily be equipped with internet access. ISA does provide internet access at the ISA office, as well as the host university.

RESIDENCIA
Students may also elect to live in a residencia for an extra cost. They may have one to three other international roommates that are not part of the ISA program. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served Monday through Friday at the residencias, with access to the kitchen on the weekends. Please contact ISA for more information on the residencia option and to request a residencia contract.

INDEPENDENT HOUSING You may opt to secure housing independently. If you select this option, you will receive a discount equal to the housing portion of the program price. By choosing to opt out of ISA housing, you are solely responsible for researching and reserving housing, and paying all fees, deposits, and rent directly to the housing facility that you choose.
