Examines the sub-system of staff planning, recruitment and selection, training and
development, position control, audit and evaluation and salary and benefit administration
that constitute the human resource function of all organisations. Emphasis is placed on
the role of these activities as services and support-control systems. Topics include
recruitment and selection, personnel planning, testing employees, training, performance
management, compensation, managing labour relations, ethics and fair treatment.
