Students who are at the beginning, intermediate or advanced level may choose only from the courses instructed in English for international students and the Spanish language classes, not to exceed 255 contact hours. In some cases, students who place into the advanced level may petition to take a course with locals.

Students who possess a high-advanced level of Spanish language proficiency may choose to take up to four courses with locals and five courses overall, not to exceed 255 contact hours.

Students who have not yet completed one semester/quarter of college-level Spanish or the equivalent must choose language as one of their courses.

Courses are held at the main campus of the University of Adolfo Ibañez and are instructed by host university faculty. Classmates are local and international students.

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.
