Discover captivating details of Chile's history before, during and after the Military Coup of 1973. During this excursion you will visit the support groups/foundations that helped the victims and families of those political leaders who were detained, disappeared and/or executed during the time of the Military Coup, such as the "Archivo de la Vicaría de la Solidaridad y Fundación Solidaridad". You will also visit "Patio 29 del Cementario General", where the bodies of political prisoners who were executed were secretly buried. The excursion will finish with a visit to Villa Grimaldi, a detention and torture center for political prisoners during Agusto Pinochet's military control of the country.
