
This four-day excursion to the capital city will include visits to the Museo de Bellas Artes; the Chilean Museum of Pre- Columbian Art; the Cerro Santa Lucía, a steep hill in the center of the city where Santiago was founded; the Plaza de Armas; the Central Market; and the Municipal Theater. Students also spend an entire day visiting the Barrio Bellavista, known as the artists' community of Santiago, and La Chascona, one of Pablo Neruda's homes. Students will also visit the Cerro San Cristóbal, a metropolitan park that overlooks the entire city.
