Valparaíso and Viña del MarAcademic Year:Courses with Chilean StudentsAcademic Year 2008 (Feb 27, 2008 to Dec 13, 2008) Santiago![]() A view of the Andes Mountains near Santiago This four-day excursion to the capital city will include visits to the Museo de Bellas Artes; the Chilean Museum of Pre- Columbian Art; the Cerro Santa Lucía, a steep hill in the center of the city where Santiago was founded; the Plaza de Armas; the Central Market; and the Municipal Theater. Students also spend an entire day visiting the Barrio Bellavista, known as the artists’ community of Santiago, and La Chascona, one of Pablo Neruda’s homes.
