Spanish Language and Chilean Culture - Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso

This program is designed for students at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish proficiency. Beginning level students are required to take the Intensive Spanish Language course. Intermediate and Advanced students are required to take at least 90 hours of language courses. Courses for intermediate and advanced students are instructed in Spanish and are with international and Chilean students. Courses instructed in English are with international students only. NOTE: Only students with a high intermediate level of Spanish will be able to take elective courses in Spanish with Chileans and international students. Students take courses at the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, mostly with other international students.

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

There is no language prerequisite for this program.
