The Intensive Month program is designed for students who want to focus on language acquisition. The February session offers beginning, intermediate, high intermediate and advanced level courses including Spanish grammar and Chilean culture at the University of Viña del Mar. All classes are taken with international students and are taught by Chilean professors. Please note that the Intensive Month program price does not include airport pick-up, drop-off, or excursions.

Eligibility

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

There is no language prerequisite for this program.

For beginning, intermediate and advanced level Spanish speakers. All students must take a language placement exam upon arrival in Viña del Mar. The exam will indicate each student's language proficiency level, and will determine the courses in which the student is eligible to enroll. Students who arrive in Chile having completed one full year of college-level Spanish will likely place into intermediate level courses. Students who arrive in Chile having completed two years of college-level Spanish will likely place into the advanced level courses.
