The Business, Spanish Language and Latin American Culture program is designed to be a focused program for students wanting to study a range of topics, including Spanish language, international business, international communications and environmental studies. Spanish Language courses are instructed in Spanish while all other elective courses are instructed in English. Classes consist of ISA students with approximately 15 students per class. Electives courses are typically 45 hours each, while language courses are 45 – 120 hours. Students are placed into a language level based on the number of semesters/quarters of college-level Spanish previously taken.

All students must enroll in a minimum of 180 contact hours.

Beginning-level students students must enroll in Beginning Grammar and Conversation I & II and total courses selected cannot exceed 210 contact hours.

Intermediate and advanced-students can select Spanish-language courses and electives instructed in English but total courses selected cannot exceed 180 contact hours.

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.
