Prior to enrolling in courses at this language level, students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of four semesters (or six quarters) of college-level Spanish at their home university in the U.S.

The purpose of this course is to teach students to process information in a metacognative way. In other words, to practice thinking skills, creatively evaluate and solve daily problems, and to present solutions clearly, both in a written and oral manner. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to develop research and learning skills.
