José Garro

Academic Resident Director for ULACIT Programs in San José, Costa Rica

José Garro is a native Costa Rican and has worked in language education for many years. He holds teaching certificates in English and Spanish as a Second Language from various institutes and organizations including the Peace Corps, the Britannic Institute of Costa Rica, the Spanish Language Institute, and the National University of Costa Rica. In addition to his education from these well-known organizations, José Garro was also employed with many of them. His previous professional work includes a teaching position at the Spanish Language Institute in San Jose, widely considered to be the most prestigious Spanish language program in Latin America, and a teaching position with the Peace Corps.
