Most courses focus on Spanish language instruction, but there are also several courses designed for more advanced Spanish students. Spanish for Health Professionals is also available to students who are majoring in one of the following areas: pre-med, nursing, pharmacy, microbiology or other health professions. Classes are at Veritas University with American and other international students. Minimum Admissions Prerequisites There is no language prerequisite for this program. For beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Beginning - no language requirement. Intermediate - 2 semesters, 3 quarters of college level Spanish or the equivalent. Advanced - 4 semesters, 6 quarters or college level Spanish or the equivalent. Superior - 6+ semesters, 9+ quarters of college level Spanish or the equivalent. Students wishing to take Spanish for Health Professionals must be majoring in one of the following areas: pre-med, nursing, pharmacy, microbiology or other health professions. All students must take a Spanish language placement exam prior to departure.
