Overview

Offered primarily in March, July and November. This course may be offered during other months if there are 3 or more students who sign up for the course.

Description:

For students with a high advanced level of Spanish, this course will familiarize the foreign student to the Spanish language of the Latin American business world. The students will study language and technical terms in the areas of finance, marketing, production and administration. Each area is reviewed with situations or problems to resolve in order to facilitate the written and oral language development. Topics include: principal theories of administration, human resources, marketing and publicity, negotiation, purchases and sales, importing and exporting.
