Tenorio VolcanoVolunteer/InternshipSpring Break Volunteer ProgramSince 2002, ISA's Experiential Learning Abroad Programs (ELAP) has provided volunteer placements for proficient Spanish speakers throughout Latin America. In an effort to expand our program offerings to non-Spanish speakers while maintaining quality experiential learning programs, we have developed the Spring Break Volunteer Program. This program allows participants to work and stay within a Costa Rican national park, learn about biodiversity and sustainable eco-tourism from a local biologist, and gain hands-on experience in the area of conservation/ecology. EligibilityMinimum GPA Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50. Minimum Admissions Prerequisites There is no language prerequisite for this program. Course InformationCourse Disclaimer Educational lectures will be conducted on biodiversity, sustainable eco-tourism, and the flora and fauna of the region.
