Housing InformationISA Housing provides the opportunity for students to experience aspects of the Prague lifestyle that are inaccessible to the average visitor of the Czech Republic. All ISA Housing options are either within walking distance or conveniently located to public transit routes relative to the universities. The experience of living in another culture will be both educational and rewarding so long as you stay open-minded and reasonable. There are differences in culture and lifestyle between life in the Czech Republic and the U.S. Remember: the key to a positive experience is flexibility! Furnished Apartment:ISA students are placed in furnished, spacious apartments. Because of the central location, apartments are well suited for students looking for cultural immersion experience. Many of the ISA apartments are located in buildings with Czech families and international students, giving students the opportunity to interact with locals. In addition to their living situation, ISA students have access to all that their neighborhood has to offer: open-air markets, specialty stores, boutiques, restaurants, and historical sites. All of this allows students the chance to explore their neighborhood and become comfortable with their life in Prague. All apartments are either within walking distance or conveniently located to public transit routes relative to the university. Meals and laundry service are not included. Please note that a $750 housing deposit is required for this option, and is due by the Final Forms and Payment Deadline. Independent Housing: You may opt to secure housing independently. If you select this option, you will receive a discount equal to the housing portion of the program price. By choosing to opt out of ISA housing, you are solely responsible for researching, reserving, and paying for all fees, deposits, and paying rent directly to the housing facility you choose. ![]() |
