ClimateEngland has a temperate maritime climate, but there is no season when the weather is fully predictable. Temperatures are usually warmest in July through September, but an umbrella and sweater should always be kept close at hand. The sea surrounding England makes for a varied climate, which typically results in temperatures not much lower than 32ºF in the winter and not much higher than 80-85ºF in the summer. I had a fabulous time in England and the experience was only made better by all of the great people I met there. -- Hanna-Alexis Jundi , Washington State University
ISA established its first study abroad program in Reading, England in 2002 and has expanded to offer a study abroad program in London. With its diverse English speaking population, lively geography, and close proximity to mainland Europe it is easy to see why England remains one of the most popular study abroad destinations anywhere in the world. Add to this England’s incredibly rich history illustrated in sites such as Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, the Tower of London, and its dynamic, deep roots in theatre, arts and literature, England is the place to be for studying abroad through ISA. In both Reading and London, students will notice the broad international influences, while also enjoying England's very unique culture. The England programs offer great opportunities for students seeking an academic challenge in an English-speaking system and who are looking to study abroad for a summer, trimester, semester or year. ISA's study abroad programs are held at the University of Reading, the University of Westminster and Middlesex University. | ||||||||||||||||||||
