London is recognized as one of the major world-centers for theatre. A special feature of the Theatre Studies program is that it offers a uniquely wide range of courses, encompassing all the principal theatre arts allowing students to immerse themselves in the world of theatre. Whether it is Playwriting, Acting, or Design and Stage Management, students are taught by noted practitioners from the London theatre community along with Florida State resident faculty.

Upon program completion, students will receive a transcript from Florida State University (FSU)

Eligibility

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

Fall Session Eligibility:
Fall students must be pursuing degree programs in Theatre, Music Theatre, and Film and must submit a 1-2 minute video of a classic monologue and 1-2 minute video of a modern monologue as part of the application. Please contact ISA for further inquiry.

Students must have at least junior standing (third year) at their home university at the time of participation.

Spring Session Eligibility:
Spring students must be pursuing degree programs in Theatre, Music Theatre, Film, English, Communications, Humanities, and others in special circumstances. Please contact ISA for further inquiry.

Students must have at least sophomore standing (second year) at their home university at the time of participation.

Students must obtain a British Tier 4 Visa in order to participate in an academic year program.
