Maria is very happy to have joined ISA and to live and work in the most diverse city in the world. She would like to help ISA students gain a meaningful personal, educational and cultural experience through the ISA Study in England Program.

Maria studied at the American University in Bulgaria before moving to the US in 1996. She graduated with a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) and managed several study abroad programs at the International Education Office at UMD. Maria's study abroad experience in the United States has profoundly changed her life and she believes that every student should be able to experience life in a different culture during their academic career. According to Maria, the best way to be a global citizen is to study abroad and she thinks that participating in the ISA Study in England Program is a great way to achieve this.
