The city offers a diverse range of activities with an annual arts festival, theaters presenting a preview of plays bound for London, and an old town filled with pubs and shopping. Any trip to Brighton will provide coastal vistas that are sure to include the charming yet flashy pier topped off with an amusement park. You will visit the Royal Pavilion, a former royal residence built for the Prince Regent during the early 1800s. This palace is notable for its unique and flamboyant Indian architecture and Oriental interior design. Considered a weekend getaway, Brighton is known for having one of the sunniest climates in the country.
