Night at the Opéra

Location: France

Students attend a performance at one of the two famed opera houses of Paris, the Palais Garnier and Opéra Bastille. Designed and built during the Second French Empire, the Palais Garnier is famed for its unusual underground, a subterranean lake that was home to the famed "Phantom of the Opera." The Opéra Bastille, built in the 1980s, is an architectural and acoustic wonder, accommodating up to 130 musicians at once. Its modern design and state-of-the-art facilities provide a marked yet refined contrast to its 19th century counterpart. Enjoy a night of true Parisian performances and take in the full splendor of Parisian cultural arts!
