Note: A placement exam will be required when you arrive on site.

High Beginning
This course is designed for students who have completed or tested out of a minimum of one semester (or two quarters) of college-level French. However, students must take a placement exam to determine the course level into which they will be able to enroll.

Overview

Objective:
-To develop written expression especially as it pertains to business language.

Program:
-Correspondence between clients and suppliers: (documentation requests, sales, orders, deliveries, relations with banks, insurance, personnel, curriculum vitae, job offers, etc.)

Grading:
-The certificate with "mention correspondence commerciale" is only given to a student who completes 15 assignments and earns a high grade on the 2 semester tests and the final exam.

(Note that the level "high beginning" on ISA's website is equivalent to "elementary" at the Catholic University of Paris)
