Christelle Dombasi

Christelle Dombasi graduated from the University Paris VII Denis Diderot- Charles V in American Civilization. She wrote her dissertation on "African American Women's participation in the debate about the Civil Rights Movement" (1954-1960). Christelle fell in love with the English language at the age of 6 when she visited London for the first time, and has been actively interested in it ever since. A year ago, Christelle taught French at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania where she enjoyed interacting with her students. In addition to teaching, she helped the International Office organize cultural events and encouraged students to participate in different activities. Aside from her professional experiences, Christelle loves to cook and enjoys all kinds of music, art and literature. Her favorite authors are James Baldwin, Terry Mc Millan, Angela Davis, Bell Hooks, or Tony Morrison. Christelle is a very dynamic and outgoing person, always smiling and ready to share her love for Paris with the students.
