Overview

France is one of the founding States of Europe. In the history of the world, there is not an equivalent to this construction. Today, to study and understand the political, social, and economic current affairs in France, it is indispensable to situate the country as a member of the European Union. This course has three objectives: to better understand Europe, its institutions, how it functions, then analyze the place of France amongst Europe and the transfers of power for the profit of the Union, and finally to cover in-class documents that show perspectives of the future.
