Intermediate
This course is designed for students who have completed or tested out of a minimum of two semesters (or three quarters) of college-level French. However, students must take a placement exam to determine the course level into which they will be able to enroll.

Overview

*Learn a practical and useful French*

Objective: To learn French appropriate for communicating on the job, while traveling, and in everyday situations.

Program: Perform everyday tasks relevant to social and professional settings in both written (letters, emails, reports, written reviews, etc.) and oral (in person, over the phone, and in public) format

Examples:

- Telephone conference calls
- Appearing for professional meetings
- Changing a hotel reservation
- Ordering at a restaurant
- Writing a CV/resume
- Going through a job interview
- Composing a written complaint
- Public speaking
