The Florence summer program options allow students with little or no experience in the Italian language to choose from a several courses in taught in English in a variety of subject such as: Advertising, Art History, Contemporary Italian Studies, Digital Media, Environmental Studies, Fashion Design, Food & Culture, History, Hospitality, Italian Language, Journalism, Literature, Marketing, Management, Nutrition, Photography, Political Science, Sport Science and Studio Art. Each participant is required to take two courses during the summer session. Summer classes are primarily with other American and international students. Upon program completion, students will receive a transcript from the Florence University of the Arts.

Most universities accept transcripts from the Florence University of the Arts. If your home institution has confirmed that it will not accept an official transcript from FUA and requires one to come from a US university, ISA works with the University of San Diego (USD) as our school of record. You must notify ISA immediately if you will require a school of record transcript from USD. There is a fee associated with this option. Please note that certain courses are not available for credit for students requesting a transcript from USD.
