Overview
This course is a practical and theoretical introduction to world politics and international relations. Students study basic concepts of world politics, discussing the issues of war and peace from a historical perspective. Includes analysis of rules, instruments, processes, decision-making factors, and conflict resolution. Three core fields of contemporary world politics are examined: global and regional security studies, economic and democratic development, and the attempt to "build a better world."
