FlorenceSemester / Trimester:Liberal Arts and Italian StudiesWinter 1 2009 (Jan 8, 2009 to May 17, 2009) Housing InformationISA students are placed in furnished apartments in areas surrounding the university campus, all in the historic center of Florence. Because of the location, the housing is well suited for students looking for a cultural immersion experience. Many of the ISA apartments are located in buildings with Italian families, giving students the opportunity to interact with locals. In addition to their living situation, ISA students have access to all their neighborhood has to offer: open-air markets, specialty stores, boutiques, restaurants, cathedrals, and historical sites. The Uffizi art gallery and Brunelleschi's Duomo are just a few examples of the places within walking distance of the apartments. All of this allows students the chance to explore their neighborhood and become comfortable with their life in Italy.![]() | |
