This program offers Spanish language courses as well as culture courses at the beginning, high beginning, low intermediate, intermediate, and high intermediate levels. Students begin with an 80 hour Intensive Spanish course. Then students will take a minimum of four courses and a maximum of five courses. All classes are taken at the Center for Modern Languages at the University of Granada with international students.

Eligibility

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

Students must have completed of 3 semesters (4 quarters) or the equivalent of college-level Spanish. All students must take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Granada. If the exam indicates that the student's language level is too advanced for this program, the student may be required to switch to the Hispanic Studes Program.
