Because most classes are in English, students at any Italian language level are eligible for this program. Students are required to participate in at least one Italian language course at the beginning, intermediate, or advanced level during their first semester. Other subject areas offered include Arts, Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, Computer Science, History, Literature, and more.

A few courses have extra fees for materials and/or field trips. Courses will be taught by local and international faculty. Classmates are international students.

Year students also have the possibility to participate in academic internships for credit during their second semester in Rome. Please inquire with the ISA office for more details.

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

There is no language prerequisite for this program.

In order to be eligible for this program, applicants must be degree-seeking students at their home university. Applicants must have at least sophomore (second-year) status at home university at the time of participation.
