Late January Orientation Arrive at the Rome Fiumicino airport (FCO). Airport pick-up and transfer to housing. Evening tour of Rome. Late January Orientation Orientation activities, tours and excursions with ISA resident staff and AUR. Italian placement exam TBA. Late January - Late January Classes Classes begin at the American University of Rome (AUR). Add/drop session starts. Late January Classes Last day to add/drop. Early February Excursion Students will travel by bus to Florence and Siena. Mid February - Mid February Excursion Day trip to Assisi Mid March - Mid March Free Time Spring Break Late March - Late March Classes Classes resume Late March Excursion Excursions to Sorrento, Capri and Pompeii Mid April - Mid April Exams Final Exams Early May - Early May Travel Departure to the U.S. Students may arrange to stay and travel on their own. Early May Holidays Holiday Spring Break begins. Good Friday, university closed. Late March Holiday Easter Sunday and Monday Late March - Late March Holiday Liberation Day, university closed.
