Housing Information

The ISA Rome package includes comfortable housing in shared double rooms in furnished apartments. These accommodations are conveniently located in neighborhoods surrounding the American University of Rome, including Trastevere, Monteverde, and Gianicolense. All three are desirable residential neighborhoods located on the west side of the city, just south of Vatican City. Compared to other parts of Rome, these neighborhoods have less noise and traffic, more green areas, better access to public transport, and are conveniently located just a short distance from the historic center of Rome. A $750 refundable housing deposit* will be charged to students living in the Rome apartments. Apartments include a fully equipped kitchen, a computer with internet access, a landline telephone, and a washing machine.
