Region and Population

Torino is the capital of Italy's Piedmont region which borders France and Switzerland. It sits at the feet of the Italian Alps and has a population of approximately 1 million people. As host city of the 2006 Winter Olympics, Torino established itself as a vibrant and exciting destination in northern Italy.
Vinovo is a satellite community of approximately 15,000 people in the south of Torino. St. John International has its main campus in the town's central castle "Castle della Rovere" which dates back to 1515.
