TorinoCulture CornerSt. John International University and housing neighborhoodsSJIU’s main campus is located in Vinovo (10 miles south of the center of Torino), a community of 15,000 people many of whom commute into the city for work. The campus is located in the town’s 16th century castle, comprised of five floors of classrooms, libraries, faculty offices, a cafeteria, and computer labs. Students can also take advantage of the sport facilities located on the castle grounds (pool, tennis courts, gym, etc.) The ISA Torino package includes comfortable housing in shared double rooms in fully-furnished apartments. Apartments are equipped with basic utilities and cooking supplies (appliances, pots, pans, dishes, etc.). A fully refundable housing deposit will be charged to each student living in an apartment. Apartments are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. They are located in the southern part of Torino conveniently located half-way between the historic city center and the university. The commute time to the university is approximately a thirty-minute bus ride. Torino's extensive public transportation system allows students to navigate the city with convenience and efficiency. | |
