All levels of language are taught at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, including absolute beginner courses. Students who have not completed 2 semesters or 3 quarters of college-level Arabic or the equivalent must choose language as one of their courses. There are many courses taught in English to accommodate students from a wide range of majors, all of which will be taken with Jordanian students. The Jordanian government requires an HIV antibody test at an official Jordanian clinic for all individuals seeking to extend the initial 30-day visa granted at the airport. The ISA Amman staff will assist students throughout this process.
