SummerSummer Arabic Language & Middle Eastern StudiesAl-Ahliyya Amman UniversitySummer 2 2012 (Jul 15, 2012 to Aug 17, 2012)Catalog Code: IAMU1212 The ISA summer program in Amman at Al-Ahliyya Amman University offers students the opportunity to learn Modern Standard Arabic while also learning about life and politics in the Middle East. Students will take two courses with other ISA students over a period of five weeks. Excursions to Jordan's most famous landmarks are included in order to give students a more comprehensive view of Jordanian culture. The Jordanian government requires an HIV antibody test at an official Jordanian clinic for all individuals seeking to extend the initial 30-day visa granted at the airport.
