The Guadalajara Summer Program is held at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO) located West of downtown at the southern end of the city. The ITESO is one of the leading universities in all of Latin America. The Jesuit university prides itself on being among the most technologically advanced institutions in Mexico. In addition to its natural and spiritual ambient, ITESO is fully equipped with a five story computer laboratory, three large amphitheaters, a satellite bank with an automated teller machine, a student center, two cafeterias, and a central library possessing a rich collection of erudite scholarship. The beautiful campus is an intellectually stimulating and spiritual learning environment. Its endless gardens and towering trees make it an inspiring and peaceful place to learn.

Through a new partnership, ISA students now have the privilege of participating in the historic 44 year collaborative program between the University of San Diego and ITESO. What started as one professor's dream to provide USD students wtih a new linguistic and cultural experience has evolved into a very successful institutionalized study abroad program for USD students as well as students from other universities. ISA is proud to join this exciting program.
