Overview

This course will give an understanding of the formation of Contemporary European Literature with special emphasis on Spanish Literature. Some of the general themes this course will look at are: Europe in transition to modern-day literature, war in Europe and the vanguard feelings, expressive liberation, the Spanish Civil War, European Literature toward Post-modernity, and the literary genres and their development during the 20th century.
