All students participating on this program do not have to take a placement exam but will be placed into a level depending upon the number of semesters of Spanish completed at their university.

Students who have completed 2-3 semesters or 3-5 quarters of college-level Spanish will take the intermediate level Spanish courses. Students who have completed 4+ semesters or 6+ quarters will take the advanced level Spanish courses. All Spanish language courses must be taken in sequence.
