This program offers courses at the advanced level. Students will take courses at the University of Guanajuato with local students and can choose from a wide variety of courses offered within the different university departments. Courses vary in hours of instruction.

Eligibility

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

For advanced-level Spanish speakers only. Students must have a 2.5 GPA and have completed at least 4 semesters, 6 quarters or the equivalent of college-level Spanish. Please note that students may be required to take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Guanajuato. If the exam indicates that the student is not at the advanced level, course options may be limited.

NOTE: Students also have the option of taking classes offered in the Language and Culture Semester program with other international students.
